In the fifth round of the USFL draft the Birmingham Stallions picked offensive tackle Darius Harper. Harper was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Los Angeles Chargers. He stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 300 pounds. The former mainstay for the Bearcats will now get a shot to show what he can do at the professional level as the USFL will start play April 16th.
