After the Bearcats lost to USF on Senior Night guard John Newman confirmed that he will take advantage of his extra year of eligibility in the post game press conference. Newman has been a glue guy for this team and will be a welcomed sight next season.
Not counting tonight he is averaging 6.6 points and 3.9 rebounds, he also started 27 games. The 6-foot-5, 205 pound wing man will be a super senior in the 2022-2023 season.
