Pete Thamel of ESPN broke the news that Cincinnati Bearcats defensive line coach Greg Scruggs will now be the assistant defensive line coach for the New York Jets. Scruggs helped develop Myjai Sanders, Curtis Brooks, Elijah Ponder and others the past two seasons. He started as the director of player development in 2018. This is a big loss, Scruggs being a former NFL’er and Cincinnati native.
