University of Cincinnati women’s basketball guard Braylyn Milton earned AAC All-Freshman Team honors from the league on Sunday.
Milton started 13 games this season, averaging 5.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. The Charlotte native shot a team-best 38.2 percent from deep to go with 16 steals and six blocks over 24.8 minutes per game.
Her breakout performance was a 19-point showing against Ole Miss, followed by 18 points two games later at Chattanooga.
She is the program’s first AAC All-Freshman honoree since Iimar’i Thomas in 2018.
UC begins AAC Tournament play Monday at 6 p.m. ET against Houston (ESPN Plus).
