Today, former Bearcat/current announcer Kevin Johnson stated he needs the fans help to generate buzz for a Cincinnati Bearcats alumni team in The Basketball Tournament. From the images released they will be called “Nasty Nati” and it seems he has some good players on deck. Check out Johnson’s tweets below.
TBT will have 64 teams, regionals will be at Cintas Center from July 18th-21st. The winner of the tournament will get to split one million dollars. It would be dope to see some OG Bearcats hoop along with some OG UNCG players this summer. I’ll post more information when it is made available to me.
