Sophomore guard Mike Saunders, Jr. had entered the transfer portal. Saunders, Jr. who is known for his lightning quick speed will have at least two years of eligibility and a third if he takes advantage of his Covid year. Along with Mason Madsen, Saunders was one of the players that Wes Miller kept when he arrived now both are in the portal.
He averaged 7.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists while also shooting 35.9% from 3 in 33 games last season.
