Last night four start shooting guard Rayvon Griffith announced he will be committing May 1st at 8 pm. Griffith recently trimmed his list down to five: Cincinnati, Ohio State, Kansas, Alabama and UCLA made the list. He attends Taft High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is right in the Bearcats backyard if they could get the four star recruit to stay home it would be huge for the program. Standing 6-foot-7 and weighing 180 pounds, he is the 42th player in the 2023 class per 247 Sports Composite rankings, 1st in the state of Ohio and the 8th shooting guard.
If Griffith stays home he would be apart of the 2023 class, which would play in the Big 12 for the first season. Can Wes Miller and the crew land its first inner city hometown hero? May 1st we will find out!
