Today the Bearcats landed their top priority in Rayvon Griffith. Griffith, a four star out of Taft High School right here in Cincinnati decides he will stay home and join Wes Miller and the Bearcats. Rayvon is currently ranked the 47th player in the class of 2023, and the top ranked player in the state of Ohio. This is a MASSIVE get for Bearcats head coach Wes Miller, who has made it known Rayvon is their guy over the last year since taking the Bearcats job.
Wes Miller since the season has ended has landed Kalu Ezipke, Landers Nolley, Rob Phinisee and now land a huge commitment from Griffith. What a time to be a Bearcat fan because what Wes Miller is building here in Clifton, is just absolutely scary.
Wes Miller and the Bearcats are not playing around as Griffith looks to be the first member of the 2023 recruiting class, and surely won’t be the last of what could be arguably one of the most talented recruiting classes in Bearcat history. Griffith a extremely athletic 6 foot 7 guard provides not only great scoring abilities but he’s terrific defensively, and is coming off an incredible showing this past weekend in Indianapolis where he finished with 22 points Friday night leading his AAU team to victory.
Griffith brings that explosiveness on all ends of the court, and will be the highest rated recruit since Jarron Cumberland. The local four star decided to stay home and man will Fifth Third be rocking when the Bearcats head to the best basketball conference in 2023 and the Bearcats will look to make an immediate impact in the Big 12.
The Bearcats will feature a core of Daniel Skillings, Josh Reed and now Rayvon Griffith all Top 100 players in their class, and it’s safe to say Wes Miller, who was known for his recruiting, is showing people he’s not playing around when it comes to bringing in the big guys. Those 3 in the red and black as they head to the big 12 will be something very special and the Bearcats nation should be absolutely fired up for what Wes Miller is cooking up in Clifton.
