The Bearcats got great news on Saturday when they learned they got a commit from 2023 defensive back Daeh McCullough. McCullough recently decommited from the University of Indiana before committing to the Bearcats. McCullough is a four star prospect that becomes the highest defensive recruit in UC history. McCullough is ranked the 219th overall prospect in the 2023 class per 247 Sports and gives Cincinnati an ever deeper and scarier secondary. Cornerbacks coach Kerry Coombs led the recruitment for McCullough who they were very high on. Fickell and staff now have the 12th ranked recruiting class in the 2023 class per 247 Sports and will look to keep adding to get back into the College Football Playoff. McCullough chose Cincinnati over offers from Kentucky, Penn State, Florida and Michigan.
