The Bearcats kept the ball rolling this morning as they got some good news as three star wide receiver Ty Perkins out of Ironton, Ohio has committed to Luke Fickell and the Bearcats. The Bearcats have now landed nine commitments to the class of 2023 in the span of three days as they continue to climb the 2023 recruiting rankings.
Perkins, a 6-foot-3 wide receiver is currently ranked the 89th nationally at his position, and 23rd player player in Ohio per 247 Sports, but has a few offers from Power 5 schools. Perkins, looks to come to Cincinnati and join receivers coach Mike Brown, who was the lead recruiter on Perkins after offering him last week at camp. Perkins looks to join Brown and could be another one of those freak athletes guys that could remind a lot of people like 2nd round NFL draft talent in Alex Pierce. Perkins is also teammates of four star linebacker commit Trevor Carter, who is one of the top players in the state that committed to the Bearcats earlier this year.
The Bearcats aren’t playing around in Clifton after a huge weekend and they aren’t done after a weekend where they landed eight commitments, they pick up right where they left off by landing Ty Perkins.
