Jets CB Ahmad Gardner confirms cost to snag No. 1 jersey

Thanks to Paul Esden for posting video of Ahmad Gardner confirming the amount he paid for his number swap. He paid teammate and fellow cornerback D.J. Reed $50,000 for the No. 1 jersey, not the amount of $250,000 reported earlier in the Spring. The 4th pick of the draft started camp with No. 20 and confirmed in the video he was going to rock No. 4, but after the purchase he’s back to No. 1 which he wore his junior year at Cincinnati.
