Bearcats running back and Cincinnati native Corey Kiner announced on Monday per his IG page, that he will wear number 2 for the Bearcats ahead of the 2022 season, his first season with the Bearcats. The Cincinnati native transferred back home from LSU this past spring and will be looking to make an immediate impact within the Bearcats offense along with running backs Ethan Wright, Ryan Montgomery and others.
Kiner, is coming off his freshman season at LSU where he recorded 79 carries, tallying 324 yards and two touchdowns, in limited action. Many people saw Kiner hit high school football by storm during his high school career at Roger Bacon High School in Saint Bernard, where he was named Mr. Ohio Football, and Gatorade Player of the Year in the State of Ohio during his senior campaign. He was ranked the 7th running back nationally in the class of 2020 and will now look to play a key role in the Bearcats offense as they look to make it back-to-back-back American Athletic Conference Championships before they head to the Big 12 in 2023.
