Bearcats, O’Quinn and Renfro named to Outland Trophy Watch List

Per GoBearcats:

University of Cincinnati offensive linemen Dylan O’Quinn and Jake Renfro were each named to the Outland Trophy watch list on Tuesday morning, presented annually to the nation’s top interior lineman.
The pair led an offensive line that paved the way for UC’s offense to average the ninth-most yards per play (6.71) in the country, giving up only 53 tackles-for-loss all season (seventh-lowest nationally). UC finished second in the AAC in yards per rush (5.2) and set single-season school records for touchdowns (70) and points (516). The Bearcats averaged 36.9 ppg to rank No. 2 in the AAC and No. 11 nationally.

O’Quinn (Toledo, Ohio) started all 14 games in 2021 after starting seven times in 2020 and appearing in 13 games as a reserve the two seasons prior.

Renfro (Mokena, Ill.) also started all 14 games on the heels of earning six starts as a freshman in 2020. He was named a True Freshman All-American by ESPN+ that season.
