Per GoBearcats:
University of Cincinnati junior kicker Ryan Coe has earned recognition on the Lou Groza Award Watch List, given annually to the nation’s best kicker.
Coe came to Clifton in January following three years at Delaware. The McDonald, Pa., native connected on 14 of 17 field goals with a long of 51 in 2021 en route to All-CAA Third Team honors, also averaging 62.6 yard per kickoff with 30 touchbacks in 2021. He was elected to the All-CAA Second Team in 2020-21 after making 12 field goals, including a 54-yarder in a FCS Playoff game, the longest field goal by any kicker in the conference in 2020-21.
Overall, Coe made 26 of 34 field goal attempts and 43 extra-points during his two years as the starting placekicker for the Blue Hens. He also was the team’s kickoff specialist as a true freshman in 2019 as well.
This marks the fourth watch list for an incoming Bearcat transfer.
