With Beavers and Dublanko moving on to the next level, who should is next up in the Bearcats linebacker room?

Ivan Pace, senior

Pace like his brother, is on the Nagurski and Butkus Watch List. He transferred in from Miami of Ohio and was the MAC Defensive Player of the Year. Racking up 125 tackles, four sacks, one interception and one forced fumble. Getting Pace on board is a great pick up for a dominate defense, if you’ve watched any Miami game you know he is a dog and can thump.

Jaheim Thomas, junior

Thomas played very well in spot duty as a sophomore for Darrian Beavers. At 6-foot-4, 243 pounds he has the attributes to be a combination of Beavers and Myjai Sanders. This year he will get a chance to play more and make his mark, I highly doubt he only finishes this season with 24 tackles.

Wilson Huber, senior

Huber took advantage of his extra year. The legacy Bearcat had 15 tackles, three sacks and a fumble recovery last season. After being placed on the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List and Allstate AFCA Good Works Preseason Team. The super senior will look to make a big impact in his final season.
