Yesterday, The New York Giants welcomed the Cincinnati Bengals in Met Life stadium for a Week 2 preseason matchup. One of the players trying to revamp that defense was former Bearcat Darrian Beavers. Drafted this year in the 6th round, he was making quite the impression on the Giants coaching staff. Beavers who was fighting for a startling linebacker position when the team found out some unfortunate news on Monday, as experts learned from the Giants representatives that Darrian Beavers had torn his ACL in the Week 2 game against the Bengals, and is out for the remainder of the 2022 season. It is very unfortunate for the young linebacker, but as all of #BearcatNation knows Beavers will be back and will use this as motivation for next season.
