Bearcats quarterback Ben Bryant was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll after his dominant performance versus Miami of Ohio where he finished 26-of-35 for 337 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Bearcats 38-17 victory over Miami.
The senior quarterback was looking to keep the Victory Bell in Clifton in his first start in the rivalry match. Bryant coming off a season where he played Miami during his time at Eastern Michigan where he led Eastern Michigan to a 13-12 victory, but was picked off by former Miami linebacker and now Bearcats teammate Ivan Pace.
“It’s a good thing I am in his team now,” said Pace.
Bryant now sits 68-of-97 on the season for 863 yards, seven touchdowns while completing 70.3% of his passes through the teams first three games as the senior is really starting to settle in under center as he continues to lead the Bearcats as they head into Indiana this weekend before kicking off conference play versus Tulsa on October 1.
