The University of Cincinnati women’s basketball 2022-23 schedule was completed on Wednesday following the announcement of dates and times by the American Athletic Conference.
Cincinnati is set to face five programs – Charlotte, Louisville, South Florida, UCF and UT Arlington – that advanced to the 2022 NCAA Tournament. All of the Bearcats’ conference and home contests will be televised on ESPN+.
The Bearcats will look to defend their three-game series winning streak in the annual Crosstown Shootout at Xavier on Dec. 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET.
After the competition of the 13-game non-conference schedule, Cincinnati tips off conference action on the road at Wichita State on Dec. 30. The contest rounds out seven games in the month of December, the most since 2016-17.
Cincinnati will kick off the new year at home when the Bearcats host Temple on Jan. 7 before traveling to face SMU on Jan. 10.
The Bearcats return home to take on Memphis on Jan. 14 and then travels for an away contest against East Carolina on Jan 18.
The first conference homestand will come against Houston on Jan. 25 and Wichita State on Jan. 28. The Bearcats open February with road contests at Tulsa on Feb. 1 and Tulane on Feb. 4. Cincinnati will battle with reigning AAC champions UCF inside Fifth Third Arena on Feb. 8.
Cincinnati will take on Temple on Feb. 11 before hosting East Carolina on Feb. 15 and Tulane on Feb. 18.
Cincinnati travels to face Memphis on Feb. 22 and UCF on Feb. 25 in the final road stint of the schedule. The regular season closes out at home when the Bearcats welcome South Florida on March 1.
