JS: How was the visit?
GG: It was awesome as soon as my family and I got there we were shown amazing hospitality and that stayed consistent throughout the day. The atmosphere was great and the student section truly was next level.
JS: Which coaches have you been able to build a relationship with on the UC staff?
GG: Throughout last school year coach (defensive coordinator) Tressel came in to talk to me a few times. Which is how my relationship with Cincinnati really took off. With me having visited twice, I spoke with coach (tight ends) Letton a lot and he is an awesome guy. I have also had time to speak with coach Guidugli and coach Fickell as well.
JS: Does the recent success of the tight end position make UC a desired destination?
GG: Absolutely, I mean being able to watch Josh (Whyle) and Lenny (Taylor) do their thing on Saturday’s really gives me an idea of what UC wants to the their tight ends. I loved seeing all of the 12 personnel on the field. Definitely one of my top schools at this point in the recruiting process.
JS: How is your season going so far?
GG: Our season is going ok so far at 3-3. We just need to lock in here at this point in the season and continue to play hard.
JS: How would you describe your game?
GG: I would describe my game as a guy with who has a pretty big route tree. I can stretch the field vertically, catch the football very well with soft hands and can put my hand in the dirt and block well when asked to.
JS: Do you plan on visiting again?
GG: I am definitely considering making a second trip this fall to a night game.
