The Cincinnati Bearcats open up AAC play on Saturday when they travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. In what will be a tough matchup for the Bearcats to open up conference play. There will be plenty of question marks heading into this one. One of the biggest question marks is who will be Tulsa’s starting quarterback and what kind of game plan will the Golden Hurricane come out in. Let’s take a look at who might make the biggest impact for each team tonight.
Tulsa Offense
Keylon Stokes, wide receiver
Stokes has been the go-to guy for the Tulsa offense this year and will loom to continue that against the Bearcats secondary tonight. Stokes took a very scary hit last week, but seems to be all good heading into this matchup. Stokes has put up 507 receiving yards this year and will have to have a huge game to defeat the Bearcats.
JuanCarlos Santana, wide recevier
The other weapon for the Tulsa offense this year Santana has had a great start to his senior campaign. Santana and Stokes will have to step up with all the questions at quarterback for the Golden Hurricane tonight. Whoever is at center will have to use Stokes and Santana to put up a fight against a tough Bearcats secondary. Santana on the year has 381 yards on the year and is averaging about 95 yards a game in the receiving department.
