Players to Watch: Cincinnati vs Tulsa

Tulsa Defense

Bryson Powers, safety

Bryson Powers has been dominant on the year and a player Ben Bryant and company will have to keep an eye on heading into tonight’s matchup. Powers is coming off a dominant performance versus Ole Miss where he led the team with 11 tackles. Powers leads the Golden Hurricane with 38 tackles on the season and continues to be a huge part of Phillip Montgomery’s defense.

Tyon Davis, cornerback

The Golden Hurricane secondary is led by graduate cornerback Tyon Davis who has played in 37 games and has recorded 122 career tackles during his career, and currently has 22 tackles on the season along with 17 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and an interception. Davis will be monitoring Tyler Scott and Tre Tucker and will play a huge role in tonight’s matchup. If Ben Bryant can get Scott and Tucker going this will be the Bearcats game to run away with.
