Bearcats Offense
Ben Bryant, quarterback
This will be a huge game for Ben Bryant. In a game that could possibly be a shootout to open conference play, Bryant will have to get the air game going quickly and keep it going all night to keep the Bearcats in striking distance. This Tulsa team has a tough secondary so if Ben Bryant can’t throw the ball the Bearcats might be in trouble and forced to slow down and establish a run game. This could lead the Bearcats to play from behind as Tulsa’s high-powered offense will be causing issues.
Tyler Scott, wide receiver
A quarterback can only roll if his receivers are in sync with him. So far Tyler Scott has been the wide receiver No. 1 for Ben Bryant and will need to put on a huge performance for the Bearcats tonight. Scott is coming off a career game where he had three first-half touchdowns and 10 catches for 185 yards in the win over Indiana. If Scott can get going early on the Bearcats will have no problems on Saturday.
