Tonight the Bearcats got huge news as four star point guard Jizzle James has committed to Wes Miller and the Bearcats. James, the son of NFL hall of famer Edgerrin James, as he is currently the 64th player in the class of 2023 and 10th point guard in the class of 2023. James attends Olympia High School down in Orlando, Florida and was recently on campus two weeks ago when the Bearcats took on Indiana for his official visit.
Jizzle now joins Rayvon Griffith in the class of 2023 and Wes Miller had locked down two top 100 players as they look to make the transition to the big 12 in 2023. James brings a lot of upside to the Bearcats as he is able to score on all three levels and be a dynamic playmaker as well as lock in on defense. This is a huge get for Wes Miller and the Bearcats as they made sure to get the job down quickly after his official visit and Wes Miller and staff are building arguably one of the best recruting classes in program history and they are not done yet either, as they are still in the running for four star Arrington Page as well as the number one player in the class of 2023 in Isaiah Collier.
Wes Miller and the Bearcats are off to a great start as they look to build a potential powerhouse of a recruiting class and pairing a guy like Jizzle James with Rayvon Griffith will be something very exciting to watch along with guys like Josh Reed, Daniel Skillings, this Bearcats young core will be very exciting to watch for many years to come!
