Bulls Defense
Dwayne Boyles, linebacker
The senior linebacker has been a force on the Bulls defense this year. Boyles leads the Bulls in tackles with 35 and has a forced fumble and interception to go along with it so far. Boyles will play a huge part in trying to slow down a dominant Bearcats offense so far.
Mekhi LaPointe, cornerback
The other dominant defender on the Bulls’ side is cornerback Mekhi LaPointe. LaPointe has 33 tackles on the year and a sack and is tied for the Bulls lead in Interceptions with one. LaPointe has had a great start to his year and will look to continue it against Tyler Scott and Tre Tucker. Both receivers have been dominant to start the year and LaPointe will have to control the receivers to keep USF in the game.
