Players to Watch: Cincinnati vs USF

Bearcats Defense

Ivan Pace, Jr., linebacker

The Bearcats defense is led by Ivan Pace who leads the country with 13.5 tackles for loss, which is four more than the next closest player in all of college football. A man who has been on a mission since joining the Bearcats, Pace, will have a chance to show the nation again why he has risen up the draft boards this year.

Jabari Taylor, defensive end

The Bearcats are coming off an American record 11 sack game against the Tulsa and will look to get pressure on the USF quarterback early. Part of that will rely on the interior defesnive lien shutting down the run and getting home in three and four man sets. Jabari Taylor is coming off a career game where he picked up 2.5 sacks and dominated all game to help the Bearcats secure a tough win on the road. If Taylor can do the same on Saturday this will be a tough game for the Bulls offense.

Bearcats kick off vs USF this Saturday at 2:30 pm. The Bearcats will look to give a large Homecoming crowd a nice performance and head into the bye week with a five game win streak.
