Cincinnati Bearcats Midseason report card: Offense

Running back:

This group has been hit with the injury bug some with Corey Kiner recently messing up his hand and Ryan Montgomery just getting back in the fold the last two games due to a rib injury. The one constant has been senior Charles McClelland. McClelland has been terrific so far this season leading the team carries, yards and touchdowns with a stat line of 76 carries for 502 yards for 6.6 yards per carry and five touchdowns.

Kiner has 52 carries for 253 yards for 4.9 yards per carry and five touchdowns.

Redshirt freshman Myles Montgomery has flashed some early in the year, but Kiner, Ry. Montgomery and McClelland will be the main ball toters barring injury.

If it wasn’t for the Indiana game I would’ve ranked this group higher.
