Cincinnati Bearcats Midseason report card: Offense

Tight end:

This group has pure NFL talent with senior’s Josh Whyle and Lenny Taylor, as well as sophomore Chamon Metayer. Metayer is on the mend so that has given Payten Singletary more snaps, but the heavy lifting has been done by Whyle and Taylor.

Whyle has 15 catches for 139 yards for an 9.3 yards per catch average and two touchdowns.

Taylor has 11 catches for 109 yards for an 9.6 yards per catch average and two touchdowns.

Both do a great job in the run game, but because they haven’t put up the numbers expected I have to hit their grade. With how explosive this offense has been they kind of have been the forgotten pieces so far. These two have great talent and depending on how the rest of the year goes this grade can move up.
