The Cincinnati Bearcats welcomed in fans for a fun Nipp at Night game against a tough ECU Pirates team. The Bearcats had to face a tough run offense and a team that had multiple skill positions to burn you when needed. The Bearcats allowed 454 yards in the game allowing 280 in the air and 174 on the ground. ECU only went 5-of-17 on third down and 1-of-2 on fourth down, but costly penalties helped the visitor sustain drives initially that were stopped. The Bearcats won an ugly one at home 27-25.
