Bearcats G/F John Newman out indefinitely after knee injury

Yesterday, senior guard/forward John Newman had surgery on his knee (meniscus). He is out indefinitely (will be at least a couple months), but Wes Miller is holding out hope he can come back this season.

This is something Miller talked about to the media after the EKU game, but now it’s out in the public.

TFON is rooting for the recovery of Newman, the loss of Newman will give other Bearcats a shot to play and it’s reported by Keith Jenkins that Josh Reed may see his first action against NKU Wednesday.
