JS: How was your visit?
MZ: My visit was great, I had a great time. I liked that I got to see what they had to offer if you went there even the things outside of football.
JS: How cool was the Nipp at Night experience?
MZ: I loved the experience. Seeing the whole city come out watch the game and sellout the stadium was exciting to see.
JS: Which coaches do you have the best connection with on the staff?
MZ: I have the best connection with (cornerbacks/special teams) coach (Kerry) Coombs. He had came to see me last year, also wanted me to come to the summer camp and I did well. We got to chop it up before the game for a little while and he is a great guy.
JS: Do you have anymore visits lined up?
MZ: I don’t have anymore planned visits lined up right now because I’m about to go into basketball for my school.
JS: Which position are you getting recruited at by UC?
MZ: I’m being recruited as a cornerback by UC as of right now.
JS: How did your season go? And what’s next for you?
MZ: Individually, I feel like I had a decent season. I felt like it could’ve been better, but I had an ankle injury that only allowed me to play six games. As a team didn’t finish out how we wanted, but we’re right back to work for next year. I’m not sure what’s next yet, I haven’t really thought about it because basketball is starting up. I’m pretty sure I’ll be talking to my parents and coaches about this kind of stuff soon.
