Sources: Luke Fickell to become the next head coach at Wisconsin

Per Keith Jenkins and Justin Williams, Luke Fickell will become Wisconsin’s next head coach. After six successful seasons Fickell is leaving as the programs winning coach at 57-18 and overall he’s 63-25.

Luke Fickell will be the next head football coach at Wisconsin, sources confirm to @TheAthletic. Fickell informed University of Cincinnati he is leaving to take the new job.

This process has been reported by multiple outlets today. @PeteThamel was first to break news of pursuit.

The question now is who will Fickell take with him to Wisconsin. Pete Thamel has reported that Kerry Coombs will be the interim head coach.
