The Bearcats receive a commitment from former Louisville Cardinal Luke Kandra. Kandra, a Cincinnati native will be returning home as he follows head coach Scott Satterfield from Louisville to Cincinnati. Kandra originally attended Elder High School and was rated the 643rd player in the class of 2020 before joining the Louisville Cardinals. However, this one has been in the works for a while now as Kandra was originally offered by the Bearcats coming out of high school.
Kandra a 6-foot-4 offensive lineman will follow Satterfield and will be reuniting with his former offensive line coach Nic Cardwell who will follow suit and join Satterfield’s staff here in Cincinnati. Kandra, a 315-pound offensive lineman is a huge grab as the Bearcats are set to lose their whole starting offensive line outside of Joe Huber and Gavin Gerhardt to the NFL and next level.
Kandra appeared in eight games for the Cardinals in 2022 and will be a huge piece to the Bearcats offesnive line as he will have three years of eligibility remaining.
