Bearcats QB Ben Bryant will take advantage of extra year of eligibility

Yesterday, Cincinnati Bearcats senior quarterback Ben Bryant, joined defensive tackle Jowon Briggs stating he would take advantage of his extra year of eligibility. Bryant started most of 2022 before he injured his foot against Temple late in the season. In 2022, he threw for 2,731 yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions on 61.2%.

With Bryant seeming to stay on board, it seems the quarterback room will be pretty full with Emory Jones transferring in, as well as Brady Drogosh signing, with Brady Lichtenberg and Evan Prater currently in the fold.

The key for Bryant will be seeing when he can get back to football activities. TFON will keep an eye on that, but Bryant using the extra year will make for some interesting battles.
