JS: What did being offered by UC mean to you?
EG: I really like UC. I’ve been interested in them for awhile now and have been going to camps there since I was in the 8th grade. I’ve also been going to games for several years, so it’s a team I’ve been watching closely since I was younger.
JS: After visiting a few times, what do you think triggered the offer?
EG: Building up the relationship which is a key component for current staff. They came out to watch me throw in January and we’ve been building a real good relationship since. The visit was the next step to the relationship.
JS: What’s next as you continue your recruiting journey? Do you have a commitment time frame?
EG: I have a couple visits left so I’m going to finish those and throw for some coaches in the Spring before I make my decision.
