The Cincinnati football program’s inaugural Big 12 season turns another page on Thursday, July 13 with Big 12 Media Day, presented by Old Trapper, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Head coach Scott Satterfield will be in attendance alongside transfer quarterback Emory Jones, sophomore defensive lineman Dontay Corleone, senior defensive lineman Jowon Briggs and senior defensive back/linebacker Deshawn Pace.
Jones started 20 games at Florida and Arizona State, totaling 48 touchdowns. Corleone wasPFF’s top-rated defensive player in the nation last year and earned Third-Team All-America honors from the Associated Press. He also joined Briggs on the AAC First Team. Pace is a two-year starter who had 94 tackles and a team-high four interceptions on the 2021 College Football Playoff team. All three defensive representatives are Cincinnati natives.
ESPNU and Big 12 Now on ESPN+ will provide television coverage beginning at Noon CT on Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. CT on Thursday. Cincinnati is joined by UCF, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and West Virginia at its session.
UC’s home slate includes Oklahoma, Iowa State, Baylor, UCF and Kansas, in addition to league road games at BYU, Oklahoma State, Houston and West Virginia.
