Yesterday, the Washington Commanders announced they have signed former Bearcat defensive tackle Curtis Brooks after placing defensive tackle David Bada on injured reserve.
Brooks, was a crucial piece on defense for the Bearcats during their College Football Playoff run in 2021 after being tabbed an All-AAC First Team selection after a stellar super senior season. Brooks was drafted back in the 6th round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, before being waived late in the season, before finishing the 2022 season with the Tennessee Titans. Although, Brooks, has yet to play an NFL regular season snap, but is looking to advantage of the opportunity in Washington.
Brooks will now be reunited with former teammate Darrick Forrest, Jr., who was the Commanders fifth round draft selection back in 2021.
