Xzavier Henderson- Henderson, comes to the University of Cincinnati after spending the last three seasons at the University of Florida. Henderson, a 6’3″, 200-pound receiver is looking to be a viable threat for the Bearcats offense this season after already developing a great chemistry with quarterback Emory Jones during their time at Florida. Henderson led the Gators in receiving a season ago where he hauled in 38 receptions for 410 yards and two touchdowns. What does Henderson bring to the table you may ask? “Speed, explosiveness,” said wide receiver Dee Wiggins. “Xzavier Henderson is a great receiver, he is going to be out there making plays. He is a longer guy, just like me, whatever is in the air, we just have to go up there and get it.”
Donovan Ollie- Ollie, comes to Cincinnati after spending the last four seasons at Washington State. Ollie brings great size, speed, athleticism, another one of those bigger frame receivers that can go up and make you work as we have seen so far in camp. Ollie started 11 games last season, but had a dominant showing vs No. 15 Oregon where he finished with five catches for 80 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown.
Aaron Turner- Turner, a smaller slot receiver reminds you more and more of a guy like Tre Tucker the more you watch him. Despite being listed at 5’7″, Turner’s skillset is what makes him such a unique option for the Bearcats. Turner has blazing speed and can be a dangerous weapon out in space. Turner led UConn in receiving last season where he finished with 57 receptions, tallying 527 yards and three touchdowns. It will be very interesting to see how Scott Satterfield and Brad Glenn utilize a guy like Turner into the offense, but is one of those pieces that could make an immediate impact with the ball in the open field.
