Bearcats revamped wide receiver room ready for the challenge of the Big XII

Where does Evan Prater fit into this room?

Since Prater, has converted to wide receiver he has garnered a lot of attention from folks around the program. How would that transition look for Prater, who was once the highest rated offensive prospect in program history. “He’s came in paid attention in the classroom, getting the small things first before coming out here and just doing things. He is a great listener; he is a sponge. He is a sponge to detail, I thought he transitioned well, it seems like he has been at that position for years,” said Dee Wiggins.

“Evan is a guy that hasn’t had a lot of reps at receiver, but he’s jumped right in and man he has some natural talent at that position, without us even coaching him through some of those things,” Brad Glenn said. “If we can get him going, he will be a guy you will see continue to come on strong as we get this thing going down the stretch. He is going to be talented at that position, I think the question mark for us right now is “What is the arrival date on that?” “Will it be two weeks into camp, or two games into the season, it’s kind of a wait and see, but I am extremely pleased with his attitude, competitiveness, and with the natural talent he has at that position.”
