Over the weekend Wes Miller and staff welcomed one of the top players in the class of 2026 in T.J Crumble to Cincinnati for an unofficial visit. Crumble, a 6’10” small forward, from Cleveland, Ohio currently attends Lutheran East High School, where he has quickly risen to one of the nation’s tops prospects in the 2026 class and has already reported 15 offers per 247 Sports.
Crumble is coming off a stellar freshman campaign, where he has picked up offers from programs like Illinois, Texas, A&M, Ohio State, Cincinnati, LSU, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech and many more. Per ESPN latest top prospect lists of the 2026 class, Crumble comes in ranked No. 19 in the class of 2926.
“The visit was great!” Crumble told TFON. “The whole coaching staff was very welcoming. They did a great job explaining to me all about their program and how I can fit in and expand my game, along with becoming a better person in the process. Coach Miller and I talked in person for the first time, while on campus and his energy is great. I can tell how bad he wants it for his players which made me like the school even more. I loved how all of the sports and building are close together, so it helps socially and helps with organization. I really love how even though it’s in the city it still gives a college campus feel.”
As the University of Cincinnati looks to finish their newly renovated indoor practice facility and health and nutrition center, it’s safe to say the highly touted prospect was blown away by the campus and facilities around the University of Cincinnati. “The facilities were amazing along with the academic buildings such as the engineering buildings. It all seems to be ahead of everything else,” Crumble said.
As Wes Miller and the Bearcats look to gear up for the Big 12 season come November, the staff has made it a priority as of late to target some of the nation’s top players in the upcoming classes. As conference realignment continues to happen in college athletics after the Big 12 added Arizona, Arizona State and Utah this past week, the Big 12 is starting to become the potential juggernaut when it comes to College Basketball, as we have heard Brett Yormark and many others call it the “Best conference in all of college athletics”/
