CB: When deciding to look for a university what do you look for most?
DS: Definitely looking for a place that feels like family and a support system, being away from home requires you to have people you can fall back to hold you accountable for your actions and be there in times of need, but also in times of praise.
CB: Were there any coaches that you talked to help improve you as a player?
DS: Yes sir, along the journey I spoke with three coaches that left a positive impact on me as player, Coach Don Nelson from Alabama State, Coach Jeff Meyers from Memphis and Coach Lonnie Teasly from South Carolina.
CB: As a player what skill sets do you feel are your strengths and what is one thing you can improve on as a player?
DS: My strengths are pass blocking and I could improve on run blocking.
CB: What did it mean to be offered by UC?
DS: Meant a lot to have a program with the magnitude that UC has to believe in my ability to offer a scholarship to play football for a city that loves the team and sport.
CB: Have you built any relationships with the UC coaches?
DS: Yes, Coach Cardwell and Coach Abrams have built a decent relationship over the past couple of weeks, great guys, with long track records of getting guys to the league.
