This morning former Ohio State running back Evan Pryor announced via social media that he will be transferring to the Univeristy of Cincinnati.
Pryor was a member of the 2021 recruiting class where he was rated the 83rd ranked player nationally and No. 6 ranked running back per 247.
Pryor had battle a knee injury early in his Ohio State career but was healthy for the 2023 season. Despite only 19 carries on the 2023 season, Pryor will immediately come in and be an immediate impact for the Bearcats backfield alongside Corey Kiner.
Pryor brings great speed and the ability to affect the game in the both the run and passing game. A great opportunity looms ahead for Pryor in a Bearcats offense that loves to run the ball which we saw over the 2023 season.
Pryor, comes to Cincinnati with three years of eligibility remaining. This is a huge addition to the running back room that saw a lot of turnover following the season after Myles Montgomery, Stephan Byrd and Ethan Wright hit the portal, while Ryan Montgomery exhausted his college eligibility.
The speedy running back now joins Brenden Sorsby and Mikah Coleman as the three newest Bearcats via transfer portal.
