This afternoon 2024 4 star shooting guard Ricardo “RJ” Greer announced his top 4 which included, Cincinnati, NC State, Penn State and the NBL. Greer, attends Archbishop Altar High School in Dayton Ohio, where he ramps up his senior season. Greer is the son of Dayton associate head coach Ricardo Greer but has elected not to include his father’s Flyer’s squad as one of his finalists.
Greer, a 6’4″. 170 pound shooting guard that is currently ranked the 121st player in the class of 2025, while the 4th player in the state of Ohio according to the latest 247 composite rankings. Greer, has taken unofficial visits to Cincinnati and NC State but is hoping to get to Penn State in the near future.
Greer, broke down his recruitment to ON3’s, Joe Tipton earlier today about here is what he had to say about Cincinnati. “They were the first school to really recruit me hard. The relationship I have with the coaches is second to none and they’ve really shown interest in me and building a relationship with my family.”
The talented shooting guard is set to make his decision at a later date, but this is defiantly an interesting target for the Bearcats due to the caliber player. Greer, not only listing the Bearcats is huge due to being a local talent, but we have seen the impact Wes Miller and staff have made in terms of recruiting the Tri-State area since becoming the head coach of Cincinnati back in 2021.
