1. Jaxson Robinson #2 – 6’7″ Sr. Ada, Oklahoma (16 ppg, 47.7 FG%, 41.4 3-PT FG%, 22.8 mpg)
Robinson is BYU’s leading scorer and is in his second season in Provo, Utah. This season, Robinson has emerged as a lethal threat beyond the arc, with seven games sinking three or more three-point baskets. It’s worth noting Robinson led the Cougars with 61 three-point makes in 2022-23.
2. Noah Waterman #0 – 6’11” Sr. Savannah, New York (11.8 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 49.1 FG%, 42.9 3-PT FG%, 23.2 mpg)
I mean, are you kidding? How are you going to defend this guy? He’s efficient from the field AND he can shoot it accurately from deep. He’s been on a tear over his last four games, shooting 23-38 from the field including 13-26 from three-point range. His versatility and experience could be a problem for the Bearcats defense.
3. Spencer Johnson #20 – 6’5″ Sr. American Fork, Utah (10.8 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 63 ast-19 TO)
Johnson is the leading assist man on this year’s Cougars team through 13 games. Eight times this year he’s dished out five or more assists. He’s a smart basketball player, and he also brings almost 90 games of experience in his college basketball career.
4. Fousseyni Traore #45 – 6’6″ Jr. Bamako, Mali (10.2 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 64.1 FG%)
Traore is an accomplished player. In his first two seasons in Provo, he garnered All-Freshman Team honors and Second Team All-Conference honors for the West Coast Conference. He’s also in the top 20 in several statistical categories in BYU men’s basketball history including rebounds, blocks and double-doubles. He’s a big factor in BYU’s incredible depth, and depth in that Utah altitude can be massive.
5. Dallin Hall #30 – 6’4″ So. So. Plain City, Utah (9.1 ppg, 48.9 FG%, 41.7 3-PT FG%)
An efficient scorer and shooter off the bench, Hall is also second on the team with 56 assists. He finished with 108 assists last year in an All-Freshman team season in BYU’s final as members of the West Coast Conference. Six times this season he has dished out five or more assists.
6. Atiki Ally Atiki #4 – 6’10” Jr. Mwanza, Tanzania (5.7 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 62% FG)
Another depth piece for the Cougars, Atiki is doing all of this playing just 13 minutes per game.
