4. #3 Dajuan Harris Jr., 6’2″, 170 lbs., R-Sr., G, Columbia, Mo.
7 ppg, 2 rpg, 41.1 FG%, 16-38 3-PT FG, 18-25 FT, 122 ast.-42 TO, 29 stl, 35.5 mpg

Harris brings plenty of pedigree to this Jayhawks team, having started on their National Championship team just two seasons ago. He was named the Big 12’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2022-23, but that’s not all. Harris leads the Jayhawks in assists this season. In each of the last two seasons, Harris led the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio and led the Big 12 in assists per game in 2022-23.

5. #10 Johnny Furphy, 6’9″, 202 lbs., Fr., G, Melbourne, Australia
6.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 47.6 FG%, 37.3 3-PT FG%, 11-15 FT, 15.9 mpg

Furphy joined the Jayhawks in August of 2023, coming up from the Land Down Under. He’s been increasing his scoring and minutes over his last two games, so he is worth keeping an eye on in addition to the big-name players on this Kansas roster.

6. #13 Elmarko Jackson, 6’3″, 195 lbs., Fr., G, Marlton, N.J.
4.8 ppg, 1.4 rpg, 36.4 FG%, 8-30 3-PT FG, 23-27 FT, 43 ast.-28 TO, 21.6 mpg

Jackson came into Kansas as a McDonald’s All-American and has performed well in his first season. Jackson has 11 games with multiple assists and two games scoring in double figures.

7. #25 Nicolas Timberlake, 6’4″, 195 lbs., Gr-Sr., G, Braintree, Mass., Towson Transfer
4 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 38.2 FG%, 13-45 3-PT FG, 7-11 FT, 11.4 mpg

Timberlake comes to Kansas after five solid seasons at Towson, where the last two years he was named to the All-CAA First Team. In addition, Timberlake is the all-time Towson leader in three-point field goals made and attempted.

8. #23 Parker Braun, 6’10”, 235 lbs., Gr-Sr., F, Burlington, Kansas
2.8 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 22-30 FG, 2-5 3-PT FG, 4-6 FT, 15 blk, 8.1 mpg

Braun has played in all of Kansas’s 18 games this season and has scored in double figures twice this season.

9. #11 Jamari McDowell , 6’4″, 180 lbs., Fr., G, Houston, Texas
1.7 ppg, 1.2 rpg, 7-28 FG, 5-18 3-PT FG, 10-21 FT, 6.5 mpg

Worth noting about McDowell entering his first season with Kansas: he scored 10 points in both his first and second game.
