The Bearcats 2025 recruiting class just added its 12th member following the addition of linebacker Paul Nelson.
The local three star linebacker was on campus for his official visit over the weekend where he quickly announced his pledge to Cincinnati. Nelson was offered by the Bearcats back on March 25th.
However, for Nelson his connection to Cincinnati runs deeper, as he is coached by Cincinnati Hall of Famer Antwan Peek at local Princeton High School here in Cincinnati. Now for Nelson, he is looking to become the next hometown hero.
Nelson is rated the 104th linebacker in the class of 2025, and 42nd ranked prospect in the state of Ohio. According to 247 sports.
The 6’3”, 210 pound linebacker provides great size and speed and can quickly fill the gaps at that linebacker position. Now for Nelson, he is looking to continue the pipeline of Hometown Hero’s as he looks to help bolster the 2025 recruiting class.
