Is the Bearcats quarterback battle, a two man competition?

Brendan Sorsby, redshirt sophomore

In the offseason the Bearcats staff zeroed in on Sorsby who spent his first two seasons with Indiana. Sorsby played well last season, displaying a big arm and a good running ability that will make #BearcatNation happy. After seeing the redshirt sophomore in the Spring, most believe he is the odds on favorite to win the job in the Fall even though Satterfield is stating it will be an open competition. I personally think that Sorsby would have to be injured or play terrible in the Fall for him not to win the job.

2023 stats: 135/236, 57.2%, 1,587 yards, 15 touchdowns, 5 interceptions

112 rushes, 286 yards, 4 touchdowns

It will be a competition, because iron sharpens iron, but I personally think Sorsby is already at third base before the others even walk up to the batters box!
