OVERALL
West Virginia was a hard team to watch last with their inability to score the ball. The Mountaineers were Jones or bust last season and its surprising they won as many games as they did. The season should be a lot different as WVU will depend on the help of two transfers in their first season in the Big 12. While at Lasalle Aaric Murray was considered an NBA prospect at center. He’s a great rebounder and shot blocker with the ability to dominate inside and shoot outside. Him and Kilcli should form a formidable duo inside. Staten is the other transfer who was one of the nations best assist man as a freshman and gives WVU the facilitator that they haven’t had in the Bob Huggins era. The Mountaineers will still need to find some consistent scoring on the perimeter but you can guarantee that they will play hard. This is a tournament team that just might be a year away from being a final four team.
Huggs be coaching those boys up.. I didn’t know Staten transferred there, Huggs gonna get him right..
