OVERALL
The Bears lose three of their top four scorers from last season so I don’t expect them to be as good as last year but they return their leading scorer and assist man in Jackson who was also a big shot taker and maker. Bello came in last year highly recruited an a lot more will be expected of him this season along with the sharp shooter Heslip they have a solid trio on the perimeter. The question for the Bears is if the young bigs can step up and make an immediate impact and most of that responsibility will fall on what many considers the 2nd best center in this freshman class, Isaiah Austin. If he’s able to deliver inside the Bears should make a run at the Big 12 championship.
