OVERALL
If the Blue Devils are to have a great season then Curry will have to take a step up to the next level. With Rivers leaving after one season a lot of the scoring load falls on Curry. He’s more than capable but will have to be a play maker and a leader for Duke to be successful. Dawkins will be his partner in crime in the back court but needs to do more than just shoot the three. Mason Plumlee continues to improve each year and should have a big year inside. The Blue Devils add to top recruits in Sulaimon who will look to replace Rivers and a late signee in Jefferson who will be immediate help on the front line. This is pretty deep Duke team and I’ve seen Coach K work with less so a Final Four birth is more than plausible in Durham.
