OVERALL
The Gators return a lot of players that played in back to back Elite Eights so experience is on their side. This Gators team remind me a lot of last seasons Kansas team and Young should have a Thomas Robinson like season. Young will hold it down inside with the help of Murphy while Boyton is expected to hold it down on the perimeter. A big time scorer his whole career at Florida, he will be looked at to be more of a distributor this season. Rosario is expected to pick up the scoring void left by the loss of Beal and Walker and he’s more than capable. A big time scorer his first two seasons at Rutgers, he took a back seat in his first season as a Gator but will need to be more aggressive this year. Ogbueze will be looked at to take the pressure off of Boyton to be the primary playmaker and if successful the Gators could be looking at a third Elite Eight and a possible Final Four.
